Office Assistant will greet visitors in person and by phone

Keep and maintain church records of various types
-
Paper and Electronic records of Annual and Quarterly Meetings
-
“Red Book” church membership records
-
Mailing list and church mailboxes
-
Notebook and Bulletin Board of Church Council Proceeding
-
Main bulletin board in Gathering Area
-
-
Format and prepare weekly church bulletins
-
Format and prepare other church communications as needed
-
Maintain and update church website and Facebook pages as needed
-
Maintain master calendar of all church related activities
-
Maintain office equipment and coordinate repairs with Property & Grounds
-
Keep inventory of office supplies and order as necessary
-
Assist Pastor with written communication and scheduling as necessary
Skills required include
-
Good organizational skills
-
Excellent communication skills, both written and personal
-
Expertise with keyboarding, computer and peripherals
-
Strong skills with electronic media
-
Microsoft Office Suite, WordPress, Facebook
-
Layout and design for written communications
-
Schedule and Remuneration
-
10-12 hours per week coordinated with Pastor’s schedule
-
$10-12 per hour, depending on skills and experience
