Prineville Music Theater Camp – what a glorious beginning! The character, voices, and spirit of more than a dozen youth filled the sanctuary and halls at Our Savior’s during the month of June. Under the direction of Michelle Moore, they presented a funny, smart, and polished musical.
The play is based on Meanwhile Back at the Ranch, a story written by Trinka Hakes Noble. Michelle Moore adapted it for our stage by adding musical selections to the tale of Rancher Hicks and his wife, their boring ranch, and the exciting town of Sleepy Gulch. (Hmmm…. Maybe I have those adjectives mixed-up?)
Opening night was July 1. The cast performed for an enthusiastic crowd:
Kudos to the cast and crew. Thanks for bringing Broadway to Our Savior’s this week!
