Our renovation project has been galloping along. The painting is done, the chandeliers are up (even though not all the bulbs are in), the floor has been refinished (and covered with paper to prevent scratches while other projects get finished). We are still waiting for carpet, which is being manufactured in the South somewhere this week. These pictures will show you the color of the walls, the design of the lamps, the new doors (and the painter getting ready to finish them) and a sample of the carpet. We are so grateful to all who have supported this effort with their prayers and pledges, to Shirley Whiting, whose memorial gift was the jump-start to the project, and, of course, to God who has blessed this congregation so bountifully in the past and continues to give us all we need to worship with joy in this place.
