Our New “Saints.”
Sunday morning, November 2, we accepted 9 new official members of our worshipping community by Affirmation of Faith.
God’s Work. Our Hands
Quilters have been at work all year creating beauty from scraps. On Sunday, October 19, we will dedicate their handiwork. You can see that it is draped all over our worship space, brightening us up before it is sent all over the world via Lutheran World Relief. Many of the quilts will stay here in Prineville to be distributed to Redemption House, our homeless shelter, Rimrock Trails, a residential facility for teen substance abuse, and through the Holiday Partnership to families who need extra support over the holidays.
God’s Work. Our Hands
Sunday, September 7, we joined with other ELCA congregations around the USA to work in around town to serve our neighbors. We painted a park building, weeded and planted at the assisted living, took cookies to home bound friends. And then gathered on the patio for BBQ.
