Our Life Together
We have been in this building on this corner since it was moved from Camp Abbot in 1948. Our Lutheran roots go back over 5oo years when a man named Martin Luther asked for the Church to turn back to the Bible to find God’s grace through Jesus Christ as the basis for our salvation. We worship in song, Biblical reading, preaching and prayer, and offer Biblical education and prayer for grownups and children every week. In addition, we contribute both service and finances to building our Prineville community. We contribute to relief in our local setting and to those who are suffering anywhere inthe world. We laugh and cry and pray our way through our community life, welcoming all who wish to join us in seeking abundant life through God’s promises which have been made known to us in the Bible and guaranteed through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.
