What do they have in common? You wouldn’t have to ask that question if you’d seen what I saw when I came to church this morning. The Spirit which has led us to the much-researched and carefully considered renovation of our sanctuary has been unleashed. Men of the congregation brought their hammers and crowbars to clear the walls for insulation, reframing and sheetrock. There is still much to do, but we are launched. We have prayed for God’s Spirit to lead us as we envision a future for this building as part of the ministry we are called to be and do in this special corner of Prineville. We go forward, trusting that this is God’s will for us, praying for God’s continued blessings as we begin the adventure of making church all over the building while our sanctuary is being redone, and thanking God for all the blessings which have been so richly showered upon us in the past.
